Viewing Property

Before you commit yourself to purchase a property, however ideal it may seem, you are strongly advised to visit the area and see it for yourself. We have organised such visits for hundreds, if not thousands, of people over the years and can readily help you with your trip. Whether you want us to deal with your travel, accommodation, hire cars or simply arrange appointments with our local agents.

Once you know when you wish to visit please call us to discuss availability of properties, availability of our local agents to meet you and to let us know exactly what you want to see. Some people are interested in a very specific area and may need only to see one agent, in which case a couple of days is usually more than enough. Others are considering various areas or regions and may need to so half a dozen of our agents. This is no problem for us but we do know the amount of travelling involved and will recommend an itinerary and route

If you are concentrating on one area with one agent it is often possible to avoid hiring a car if you so choose. We can normally meet you at the nearest station and return you there after your visit. In these cases we will our do our very best to make such arrangements but we cannot guarantee it. If you are meeting a number of agents you will almost certainly need to hire a car; it is possible to succeed by public transport - we have had clients do it in the past - but you must leave yourself enough time!

Airport collection is difficult but not impossible. If you really need this please ask us for a quotation.

And finally, for those of you heading down under your own steam who really cannot fix appointments in advance, please make sure that you have obtained all the contact numbers for our agents before you leave. You can then 'phone them at your convenience to arrange mutually convenient appointments.

Please - if you do make an arrangement to meet we would very much appreciate it if you could 'phone the local agent if you cannot make that appointment. There is nothing worse than waiting for someone who simply does not turn up. If you have a mobile 'phone please let us have the number and please ensure that it is turned on. If you do not have a 'phone please give us a contact number; sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control arrangements have to be changed and if we cannot contact you we won't be able to let you know. If you really do not have any contact numbers we advise you to call the agent you are meeting the day before to check on arrangements.
