Three Flights A Week From Perugia
After years of false promises and rumours the Umbrian airport in Perugia is finally to be served by direct flights from the UK. The low-cost Irish airline Ryanair has announced that from December 20th 2006 they will operate the routing three times weekly. According to reports in the Italian newspaper 'La Nazione' the airline expects to carry at least 40,000 passengers in the first season. This will be good news for property owners who have had to travel to Pisa or Rome to avail themselves of budget air fares and will undoubtedly attract more buyers to the area, fuelling further price increases.
